Instagram update: goodbye to swipe up, hello stickers
Instagram will remove swipe up on August 30
The social network intends to eliminate the swipe up, used by influencers of + 10k, no later than August 30. In their replacement, stickers will be introduced that will allow the user to respond to Stories with links.
On the one hand, the new implementation will be similar to the surveys or questions of the stories, the new stickers will offer different styles to design, vary sizes and place it in the place that the user wants.
On the other hand, users who see the stories through the sticker-link will be able to interact with the publications. Until now, when swipe up, viewers could not react and respond to the storie, however, with stickers it can be done.
